Filed Under: Emmanuelle Chriqui, Movie, Steve Buscemi
I was just watching Steve Buscemi the other day in Resevoir Dogs. Emmanuelle Chriqui is looking hot as always.
In theaters January 29, 2010.
After a run of bad luck, John (Steve Buscemi), a compulsive gambler, runs away from Las Vegas and toward a normal job and life. Taking a nondescript position in an auto insurance company in Albuquerque, he tries to get ahead in the straight world, amid the ever-present temptations of scratch-off lotto tickets. When his boss, Mr. Townsend (Peter Dinklage), asks John to accompany his top fraud debunker, Virgil (Romany Malco) on an investigation of a dubious car “accident” near Vegas, John sees an opportunity to get a promotion , though he’s concerned about returning to the gambling game. Before leaving he becomes involved with his eccentric co-worker Jill (Sarah Silverman), a dalliance that has the potential to become a real relationship. Soon John is on the road with Virgil, where they encounter a series of offbeat characters, including a wheelchair-bound stripper (Emmanuelle Chriqui), a nude militant (Tim Blake Nelson), a park Ranger (Jesse Garcia), and a carnival human torch (John Cho). While Virgil is the supposed leader of the investigation, it’s John who begins to finally assert himself, pushing the case closer to a conclusion. Through the journey, John’s confidence builds, and he realizes that he can’t escape his gambling addiction by running away from it—it will follow him wherever he goes. It’s only when he returns to Vegas and his experiences there finally send him on the path to breaking free. First time writer/director Hue Rhodes’ SAINT JOHN OF LAS VEGAS follows the wild and funny trip a guy has to take to discover there’s more than one way to hit the jackpot in life.

Was chugging that "Power" cologne part of the show or not? Host probably dialed 911 after the show. You be the judge.

In a magazine interview Ron Artest gives the following statement:
'I used to drink Hennessy ... at halftime,' Artest said in an interview with the Sporting News, which is publishing the story in its Dec. 7 issue. 'I [kept it] in my locker. I'd just walk to the liquor store and get it.'
Artest said he drank when he played for the Chicago Bulls, where he played for his first three seasons (1999-2002). He has since played for Indiana, Sacramento, Houston and the Lakers.

BITCH SLAP is a post-modern, thinking man’s throwback to the “B” Movie/Exploitation films of the 1950’s - 70’s as well as a loving, sly parody of the same. Inspired by the likes of Dragstrip Girl;, Faster Pussycat, Kill, Kill; Kung Fu Nun and the pantheon of Blaxploitation films, BITCH SLAP will mix girls, guns, outrageous action and jaw-dropping visuals with a message… don’t be naughty! At its core, BITCH SLAP follows three bad girls (a down-and-out stripper, a drug-running killer and a corporate powerbroker) as they arrive at a remote desert hideaway to extort and steal $200 Million in diamonds from a ruthless underworld kingpin. Things quickly spin out of control as allegiances change, truths are revealed, other criminals arrive for the score, the fate of the world hangs in the balance and they are forced to confront a villain much worse than they ever expected… themselves. It’s the ultimate morality tale as, one by one, they realize the whole she-bang was a set-up and one of them may not even be human… What also makes BITCH SLAP different is a complicated “B” story device that runs throughout the film to illuminate character, backstory and relationship histories not previously revealed. Like the film Memento, these scene flashbacks take place in reverse, so by the end of the film, you have a wholly different take on who these women are and why they are behaving so badly. Bet you never saw THAT in Jailbait Babysitter!

Method Man and Ghostface remember when a war of fire extinguishers broke out on the road. Little did they know Method Man could have been killed by it all.

Last Friday was the opening of Tim Biskup's "I hate Everyone But You" exhibition at De La Barracuda in Melrose (Los Angeles). The exhibition featured a myriad of works from sculptures, paintings, prints, and toys. See Pics.

Just as I predicted, the Pacman was too quick for Cotto. Though it took 12 rounds, it was obvious he was the victor by the 11th round, but referee Kenny Bayless, with the medical approval of physician James Game, allowed the fight to continue. Bayless eventually interfered to stop the fight 55 seconds into the 12th round as Cotto appeared to have enough of Pacquiao's speed and power. Pacquiao now holds seven weight division titles and a record of 50 wins, 3 losses, and 2 draws.
Now, where's the Pacquiao vs. Mayweather fight???
