David Blaine Begins 3-day Batty Stunt In NY’s Central Park

Blaine begins what will be 3 long days of hanging upside down 60 feet above the parks skating rink without a net or food and only turning upward for short periods to have liquids and restore his circulation. Doctors say the increase in blood pressure will raise the risk of stroke or blindness, and gravity could restrict the blood flow to his lower extremities. If he makes it to Wednesday night (which he said would be 84 hours without sleep) the stunt will end with Blaine being released and flying towards the pavement.
